Over the past 10 years the world of exercise and cancer has exploded, with peak bodies calling for exercise to be
integrated into cancer care.

This course “Oncology & Exercise” is a fully online course that is designed to upskill clinicians on cancer and exercise so
they have the confidence to integrate into practice.

The course covers the basics of cancer, the hallmarks of cancer and how they relate to exercise, the research of how
and when to integrate exercise into the cancer continuum as well as the current clinical  exercise guidelines and the
exercise considerations both side effects of treatment such as CIPN and fatigue, and exercise programming
considerations such as periodisation, autoregulation and intensity.

Also suitable to health care workers involved in patient care who wish to further their knowledge and understanding of the benefits of Exercise following a cancer diagnosis. These include: cancer nurses, Lymphoedema practitioners, Myotherapists and massage therapists.
